Um, George, The Academy may have accepted that people wanted Hattie to get an Oscar (wow, thanks guys) but they certainly didn't want her to accept it. They only relented when Clark Gable threatened to boycott the awards (he got one too) and EVEN THEN they made her sit at the back of the theater. Do your research you smug piece of Hollywood trash.
