Intervention had one of the best New York quotes I’ve ever heard: “We’re Italian Americans. We Stick together, we help our parents when they get sick, and we stick together.” It reminded me of the time I saw the Circle Jerks open for GBH and they said, “This next band (GBH) is from Bristol. This is the kind of town where you can only do two things. You either joint the army, start a band or work in a factory.” This happened in New York so it counts as a New York quote. Here’s two other gems from last Sunday’s New York Post.
