Going pee is one of the worst parts about getting wasted. If you’re drinking on the street it’s almost impossible to find a bathroom and if you’re at a bar, the line up is probably 9 bitches deep.

After bitching about women not wearing heels enough, the ladies over at Jezebel made me literally walk a mile in their shoes. It sucked.

After bitching about women not wearing heels enough, the ladies over at Jezebel made me literally walk a mile in their shoes. It sucked. The deal is, the pain is focussed all in one tiny part of one joint of your big toe. It’s not uncomfortable like wearing a jacket on a hot day. It’s uncomfortable like someone putting a wrestling move on you. Though I have trouble believing all women in heels are enduring the kind of suffering I felt in mine, it did teach me to take it easy on the stiletto fascism a bit and give bitches a break.

As a special birthday gesture, I called around the McInnes family tree (which isn’t really a tree, more like a twig) to ask them to say a little “Happy Birthday Gavin.”

A portrait Gavin painted of our family back in 1995. Used to say “Merry Christmas” but I ruined it with a shitty photoshop.

The first phone call was our mom. She forgot. After that I called our Gran. She also forgot but that’s okay because she is 91 and the sweetest woman in the world.

Then it was time to call my dad who sounds like a British fag but is actually a hooligan who still gets into bar fights. He gave a really interesting account of why Gavin was born in the month of July which pissed off our mom.
