CNN wants you to think being so broke you have to eat squirrels is a bad thing. They quote old people saying “It was a uniquely disgusting thing … to see my grandfather take a stewed, skinned squirrel’s head, smack the skull’s dome with a heavy silver tablespoon, and dine on the brains,” but they’ve obviously never tried squirrel melts.
