This is the perfect lighter for smoking a one-hit and discussing the benefits of BSD’s open source operating system versus that of Linux.

FYI they’re both gay, DOS 5.1 4 LYFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s not much of a discussion when one party is anally raping the other.
Best post on this website yet. bravo.
I was using Ubuntu Studio, and Ubuntu, and even though they’re the most user-friendly flavor of linux, it took goddamned fucking forever to get things to work the way I wanted them to. Eventually, lack of VST support for audio production, and overall crappiness of the Llinux realtime low-latency kernel and the crappiness of JACK audio routing system caused me to give up.
If you want to do multimedia work, Linux still isn’t there yet. But I still love linux in theory, and there are a lot of things you can do a lot faster than in Windows.
BSD I wouldn’t even fuck with. I’ve heard it’s substantially tougher to use as a desktop and linux is already such a bitch I wouldn’t even want to try BSD.
P.S., IF you are just using a computer for typical end-user desktop computing, Ubuntu blows Vista out of the water.
Mac OS X is based on BSD among other things.
