Released in 1968, Pigmeat Markham’s “Here Come the Judge” is the first rap song EVER, according to the infallible internets. Apparently it’s a comedy routine set to music, which makes sense because it sounds exactly like Family Guy making fun of Will Smith.

    AH! It makes so much sense now. My entire childhood, my sister or I would sing “Here comes the judge, here comes the judge…” when my mother was coming after one of us after we got in trouble. She must’ve played this for us or sang it at some point when we were very young…
