I was always shocked that people still watch soap operas. Then I started watching them again and I have to say they really stepped up their game. First, the sets are perfect. Who doesn’t hang out in a basement boiler room with a brown leather couch and entertainment system? The plots are more dynamic then ever too. Soap Cops solving crimes while playing video games and doing an overview of the previous episodes which include; bone marrow theft, kidnapping, murder, just to name a few. Then there is the general vibe itself. A “Just For Men” advertisement with triple the budget and quadrupole the improvisational acting! Hey soaps, relax, I’m back!
