When the guys from THE ELECTRIC SIX brisked past my three secretaries and barged into my Manhattan office last week, I was, shocked, then angry, then depressed, then impressed. This generation usually strikes me as a heaping mass of moxy-less zombies with grotesque hair and tiny labia instead of balls.
Not so with The Six. I swung around in my gold-plated Hadi Teherani chair and studied these sweating six pieces of ELECTRICAL meat standing before me. They immediately launched into one of the most enthralling Power Points I have ever had the pleasure to become acquainted with. Several hours, laughs, drinks, and tears later I had committed to writing, directing, producing, storyboarding, location scouting, and living the video for RANDY’S HOT TONINGHT!

This is one of my favorite songs from the latest album, but this is by far the weakest video so far. Some cheap wipe and mirror effects and some dancing around? That’s it? I can respect the ambition to make videos for every song from Exterminate, but I’d be much happier if they took the time to produce a handful of quality videos rather than waste time with these meager throwaways.
So. They’re not the biggest band on the planet. Even tho I aggree with all you guys that they DESERVE to be, I am thoroughly happy with the situation!
There is naver a happier day than going to see the Six in some small location somewhere, getting front centre and being able to dance along just 1 metre in front of them. Couldn’t do that with Metallica could you?!

I have to agree with Fire in the Disco. I absolutely ? E6, but this really was a weak display. I know the ambition is to make a vid for every track on the album, but the budget for this was what? $50? Maybe $500? I’ve seen fan made vids with significantly better quality than this.
If retro/nostalgic was their aim, then this was a success; however, if anything else was on the agenda Dick needs to draft a few more ideas for the next one.
