They have a good sound, but they must be sucking the right hipster’s dick to so much push from this site. Tons of band do this kind of music but aren’t trust fund hipsters. Go see World War IX, Yo! Scunt, Skum City, Hyman Holocaust (the original NY punk band, not the Dutch grindcore name-thieves), Seizure Crypt, All Torn Up, Common Enemy, or New Damage.

THIS SITE FUCKS WITH US!!! It’s pretty apparent at this point, seeing as I don’t see many (if any) bands or shows being promoted here that aren’t NMSB-fam. As far as trust fund hipsters, I don’t know or care about anybody’s bank account when raging with my friends to a ninjasonik set or “the ballzy anthem” or “ha ha ha” or “intermission.”

Cerebral Ballzy is a great punk band… if you hate on their music then it is you that is the poser… or, perhaps you don’t have ears. The efforts by this site and the author of this post to make this band the next big thing is really lame and pretty misguided. Way to give people a reason to be bummed on an otherwise rad band. Remember when these same folks heralded “electro-clash”? Don’t do A&R dudes… you will always look like an asshole.
