I first heard the song in ’07, so I’m glad that it only took the guys all of two years to put together the official video. Before this final cut, an acoustic rendition of the song was released in early June, as well as a dorm room version that was put together by their friend, Bob Weisz. The final video trumps all of these and features the physics of pelvic-thrusts, patriotism, Prague, Iraq, a rollerblading pack of cigarettes, ghost-riding under a bridge, string beans, flying that looks like falling, and Bruce Springsteen. So far, there is no set date for an album release. For now, Boy Crisis will be taking up residency at Pianos every Wednesday for the rest of October (except during CMJ), with a rotating lineup of special guests. Go see them for $8 and find out for yourself if the wait was worth it.
