I don’t know what it is about "Members Only" jackets, but they instill a confidence and attitude unlike any other garment invented…ever. That includes the Toga. This guy won’t stop until he gets the girl of his dreams. Why? The jacket, not him. If he took that jacket off he’d be nude in his ability to be so confident. He also chose Burgundy and when that is combined with a Members Only jacket and the offer of "hot buttered popkown?" you get the irrisistable charm of a rapist. Nicely played.

How come in the 70s and early 80s, teens had distinct voices like this? The pronounciated like no other. Watch Meatballs, Ordinary People and Massacre at Central High for examples.
