New issue of ID magazine

This shot from the new issue of ID further confirms that Dan Martensen is fast becoming my favorite photographer. Also, Erin Wasson + studs + leather + chains + a hint of corpse paint is pretty OK with me too.

Comments
  1. word is born says:

Is this supposed to be the Joker or something?

  2. WORLD WAR DREW says:

I’d fuck her while listening to Burzum…or Gorgorath

  3. tommy gun says:

the chain suspenders are a nice touch. but he should stick to fashion cuz that “america” series he did, i’m sorry, very trite. In my opinion Danielle Levitt does a LOT more with a similar concept.

  4. maybe I'm too young, but says:

I don’t understand what’s punk about all those little metal studs in jackets. Doesn’t that take like, a million years of meticulous sewing? That’s what I immediately picture when I see studs: the delicate labor involved

  5. thomas gabriel warrior says:

    corpse paint? gorgorath? punk?
    none of the above.

  6. andrew says:

    why would anyone fuck her?

  7. Coffee Can says:

    Necros, dude, necros.

  8. Fashun says:

Are we talking the British fashion mag ID or the I.D. that is International Design magazine? Because the link goes to the design mag, not the fashion mag.

  9. boredom. says:

Ugh. Please remove your erin wasson fixation from this site. keep it well and truly over at gnarlitude. She is just another popular queen bee model, stealing from the under dog. You bang on about “punk” and “metal” so much, I thought you would realise this.

  10. Jen says:

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  11. xnoelle25 says:

Um. Gorgoroth, right guys? Wow… Anyway, I like it and I like it lots. And all of these comments are old. Metal and punk whiners need to learn how to stick to youtube.

  12. Ted Danson says:

I think it’s probably a good idea to point out that it’s unlikely that the photographer styled this image, so really his only decision was for her to raise her arm like that and to use black and white.
