MORE IMPORTANTLY…
Did you know that the word “PUNANI” has a rich deep, moist history in the pantheon of not only Black Culture but cultures all around the world? Well it’s true! In Sri Lanka it was made famous in 1920 due to a series of deadly Leopard attacks in a town called “Punani” but more famously it became Jamaican Patois for a “vagina” or “vulva.” In fact, in Jamaica the bikini-area doctors are called “Punanicologists!”
So, thanks to an African leopard and Jamaican dance hall music, the world can now enjoy using the word Punani in everyday life. Whether you are referring to a leopard-mauling or good old-fashioned vag, it is yours to celebrate. Heck you can even combine the usages in a sentence, as in: ” Watch your PUNANI there has been a series of PUNANINGS in a town called Punani.”
This is a Black History Month Fact!
