Four years ago to this day a cool, calm and collected dog talked a man down from what could have been Toronto’s worst mass murder. Then, with the help of a police officer who happened to be standing up and awake for the man to surrender and confess to, it was all over. Kudos for existing and being there dog and officer. Your quick witted existence averted a huge possibility.

That’s better than the Son of Sam dog that told Berkowitz to kill people.
What I really like is that this is what Canada has to deal with: killers who give themselves up to the police.

The same thing happened to me, but it was the cutest calico cat with a solid white tail. I mean the whole tail was white, no stripes or anything. Anyway, I wasn’t dumb enough to turn myself in. The trunk of my Reliant K is still locked and loaded. It was a cool cat. I would have turned myself in if he had asked me too; instead, he just asked me to “hang in there”.
Is “by lucky chance” some sort of expression I’m just not aware of? Because the way they said it kinda makes me think it is.
