Here’s a wee gem. A chunk of the “Best of Totally Teens” television program made for the television to be seen on the TV set. Enjoy it. The almost finished cut of THE BEST OF TOTALLY FOR TEENS is back playing at Monster Island tonight for a back by popular demand screen job.

Gavin Miles McInnes is a Canadian dude was part of the trio that founded Vice Magazine, and he famously created their “Do’s & Don’ts” section. Gavin also played in the early 90’s Ottawa punk band Anal Chinook. After Gavin left Vice he founded “Street Boners,” which resembles “Do’s & Don’ts” pretty closely. McGinnes recently joined empires with kindred chinook Derrick Beckles to create the website “Street Carnage,” now the internet’s premier clearing house for the passing comedic thoughts emanating from Derrick Beckles and Gavin McGinnes. Gavin also sings in “80’s Hardcore.” For this event, Gavin will be narrating a slideshow of previously unseen “Street Boners” with live off the cuff comentary.

Derrick Beckles, a Toronto native, spent years collecting bad television, much of it Canadian, editing it together to music then selling unlicensed DVD compilations of it under the moniker “TV Carnage.” Derrick channelled his “TV Carnage” infamy into a starring role in the much hated “Truth” ads against cigarettes (Derrick Beckles is a chainsmoker, fyi) and into various TV and comedy forays, including a recent pilot for Adult Swim called “Totally 4 Teens.” Beckles recently fused his empire to Gavin McInnes’, forging internet powerhouse “Street Carnage,” now quite popular among internet enthusiasts and people who enjoy leaving snarky anonymous comments on blogs. Derrick will be narrating new clips of “TV Carnage” live.
